Scotch Whisky Trail Certificate Course

An eight-week evening class teaching all about malt and grain production as well as the blend, maturation, history, marketing and brand development within the Scotch Whisky industry, you will taste around 40 whiskies!

Creater and tutor, John Lamond is one of the world’s leading authorities on Scotch Whisky, he is the author and contributes to magazines. He is a Keeper of the Quaich and a lecturer to Wine & Spirit Education Trust Intermediate and Advanced Certificate students around Scotland. 

In addition, he enjoys a couple of weeks “off” in the autumn when, for the Scottish Licensed Trade News Awards he judges the Malt Whisky Bar of the Year and Restaurant of the Year Awards.
