The owners of Raasay believe that the uncommon terroir of the island landscape, all rugged and wild but with beautifully elegance, will inform the profile of the single malt Scotch whisky.

After all, it is said that the Island of Raasay has the most diverse geology for such a small area in the UK.

R&B Distillers took to the sky via aerial video to create an experience of just where the uncommon provenance of Raasay lies and how their future Isle of Raasay single malt whisky distillery fits within it.

History

Raasay Distillery opened in 2017 after a journey to convert a disused Victorian building into the island’s first legal whisky distillery and Visitors Centre. It is the result of both a heritage in the Hebrides and a desire to produce premium quality whisky.
