The Brand

The Lakes Distillery will produce spirits from a World Heritage site.

The first spirit offering was The One, a unique British Isles blended whisky containing whiskies from around the country.

History

Lakes Distillery founder, Paul Currie is a man who has grown up in and amongst the distilling industry, and co-founded the widely acclaimed Arran distillery.

Following a £9m investment and three years in development, The Lakes Distillery opened in December 2014. 

Production is overseen by one of Scotland’s foremost whisky experts, Alan Rutherford, former production director at Diageo and council member of the Scotch Whisky Association.

The Lakes Distillery's very first single malt whisky, the first in 100 years, will be on sale in 2018, as a limited range of collectable editions.
