West Coast Whisky Trail

Laphroaig
Every year thousands of Laphroaig devotees visit us the distillery to drink in the atmosphere, learn a few of our secrets and share a dram or two afterwards. However, whilst the isolation of Islay has enabled them to maintain the ancient traditions of whisky making, they have recognised that for many of you the journey may be impossible - at least for now.
To encourage you to make the journey, Laphroaig have created a virtual distillery tour, to explain every aspect of the making of Laphroaig, including access all areas that are normally not a feature of the standard distillery tour, for example, visiting peat beds. You can either watch the entire tour from start to finish here, or see the individual sections as separate videos. Your tour will last approximately 200 years! The length of time that our ancient distillery has been used for distilling legally and illegally!
