Springbank Tour

On the Springbank Tour, you’ll have the opportunity to journey through our historic distillery, which has been on the same site since 1828.

As the only distillery in Scotland to complete 100% of the process on site, you’ll have the chance to see each and every step of the whisky making process before enjoying a cask strength dram of Springbank and taking away a miniature to enjoy at home.

Springbank & Mitchell's Glengyle Tour

On the Springbank and Mitchell’s Glengyle Tour, you’ll enjoy visiting J&A Mitchell & Co’s two Campbeltown distilleries.

As well as learning about the distilling processes used to make Springbank, Hazelburn, Longrow and Kilkerran whisky, you’ll have the opportunity to compare the differences between old and new; looking at our historic Springbank site and modern Glengyle site.

The tour will end with a cask strength dram of Springbank and Kilkerran whisky and you’ll also receive a complimentary miniature from each distillery to enjoy at home.

Springbank Taste It Tour

For those who prefer to simply relax and taste our whisky, the Taste It is for you. You can unwind in our comfortable Tasting Room, either after your tour or by going straight there, and choose from a wide range of whiskies to sample, guided by our knowledgeable staff.

Sampling whisky from our Springbank, Glengyle and Cadenhead ranges, there’s also the option to add a delicious Scottish Platter Lunch for £10. Lunch must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.

Springbank Premier Tour

On the Premier Tour, you’ll enjoy a guided walk through Campbeltown, learning the meaning of the Scottish town’s old title ‘whisky capital of the world’, before discovering the whisky making process from start to finish in our Springbank and Glengyle distilleries.

You’ll be treated to a few whiskies which will be hand drawn from the cask for you by a member of our senior production team and also enjoy a delicious Scottish Platter Lunch in our Tasting Room. You’ll also be given a complimentary Springbank Glencairn glass and visitors miniature from each distillery to enjoy at home while you remember your unique experience.

The Frank McHardy Tour

Those who book our Frank McHardy Tour will enjoy the truly unique opportunity to spend time in the company of the whisky legend himself. With over 50 years experience in the whisky industry, who better than Frank to guide you round a historical tour of Campbeltown and point out key locations of whisky interest.

Frank will also guide you round both Springbank and Glengyle distilleries where you can learn about the whisky making process and enjoy a selection of Frank’s favourite drams in our traditional warehouse. You’ll also enjoy a delicious lunch with Frank and be given a visitors miniature from both Springbank and Glengyle to enjoy at home.
