Morrison Glasgow Distillers Ltd will establish a £10 million craft Scotch Whisky distillery and visitor centre on the banks of the River Clyde – the first distillery in the centre of Glasgow in over 100 years. These exciting plans are spearheaded by father and son team, Tim and Andrew Morrison with the support of an experienced team of industry experts.
Tim Morrison commented: “We see this project as having huge potential – not only for Glasgow, but for the tourism industry, the Scotch Whisky trade and the whole Scottish economy.”

The first new distillery in the city of Glasgow for over 100 years, the original Glasgow distillery is set to be revived in the heart of the city on the River Clyde. The Pump House, home to The Glasgow Distillery, will bring the past and the present together, allowing visitors to enjoy the pioneering journeys of Scotland's unique golden cargo whilst being captivated by tales of the spirit's global reach today.
The whisky stills are making their way to The Pump House and Glasgow’s first whisky will be laid down before the end of 2017.
