The Journey
Founded in 2014, Perle Hotels began their journey by upgrading two hotels on the Isle of Skye; The Bosville Hotel and The Marmalade. More recently, they will soon open the luxury Perle Oban Hotel, at the heart of the Whisky Coast.

Oban Distillery
Nestling underneath the iconic McCaig’s Tower, Oban Distillery is a must see 5 star visitor attraction. The tour details the whisky making process, and is concluded with a dram of Oban 14 year old single malt, accompanied with some crystalised ginger. A sensory sensation!

Once the tour is finished, you can explore the core range of Oban whiskies, including the latest addition to the portfolio, a non-age statement bottling, Oban Little Bay. The distillery even gift you £5 off the purchase of any 70cl bottle of single malt.
Oban Whisky and Wine Shop
If you have more time of your hands, then we would encourage you to visit the local whisky retailer who can introduce you to a wide range of whiskies from Islay or Campbeltown, also part of the world famous Whisky Coast.
More importantly, you may be encouraged to return by the retailers, as they founded the inaugural West Coast Whisky Feis, due to take place in July this year.
Talisker
To visit the award winning Talisker, we would recommend you enjoy a sail on a CalMac ferry to Armadale, then onward to the distillery, where you with enjoy dramatic views of the Cuillins.
The distillery tour will cover Talisker's unique whisky making process, including its five copper stills and traditional worm tubs. Once over, you will taste the award winning single malt scotch whisky.
