Isle of Arran

A very special bottle of Arran. This was bottled exclusively for those who invested in the Arran distillery in 2001.

A bottling of single malt whisky from the Isle of Arran distillery bottled to honour Scotland's favourite son, the bard himself, Robert Burns. Bottled at 43% and created to be malty and sweet with a 'spicy twist on the finish'.

Arran 10 year old is a medium-bodied, citrussy dram that shows an elegance and deftness of touch that belies the distillery's year olduth. Tasting the complexity and assurance of this year oldungster it is difficult to believe that the distillery only opened in 1995. A great achievement.

The sixth batch of Arran's 12-year-old cask strength is a combination of first-fill sherry butts, refill sherry hogsheads and first-fill bourbon barrels. Spicy and vanilla-led with the kick that cask-strength whisky gives.

Released in late 2010, this Arran 14 year old replaced the old 12 year old. Neither coloured nor chill-filtered, Arran 14 year old is bottled at a sensible drinking strength of 46%, for which the management deserve maximum kudos.

Following 2015's limited-edition first release, Arran has now added its 18-year-old whisky to the core range. A rich and complex whisky, with notes of citrus, orchard fruit, milk brioche and dark chocolate.
