Jura's Tastival bottling for 2016 combines three whiskies aged in different types of sherry cask – Palomino Fino, Amoroso and Apostoles. The youngest whisky in the blend is 14 years old and the result is a whisky with notes of vanilla, apple, white flowers, maple syrup and roasted hazelnut.

A 1995 vintage Glen Grant bottled at 21 years of age by Signatory. Distilled on 31 May, matured in a pair of bourbon barrels and bottled at cask strength on 18 April 2017, part of a batch of only 384.

More woody experimentation from the folks at Amrut, maturing the Portonova first in a combination of new american oak and ex-bourbon barrels, then moving it to refill port pipes and then back into ex-bourbon casks. It combines the traditional vanilla and coconut flavours with the rich fruit you'd expect from a port cask for an interesting mix.

A new concept from Amrut. The spirit for Intermediate Sherry Matured starts life in a mix of ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks. It is then transferred to sherry casks for a period before going back into bourbon casks to complete its maturation. There's been a huge buzz about this, and we've only got a small allocation,

A replacement for Glengoyne's 17yo that appeared in their revamped range in late 2012. A mix of refill sherry casks and a generous slug of first-fill sherry-matured whisky.

A limited edition ceramic Bell's decanter produced to celebrate the birth of Prince William on 21st June 1982. This contains Bell's blended Scotch Whisky.

This single cask Indian whisky from Paul John in Goa was distilled in 2011. Aged in a bourbon barrel, it was released at a cask strength of 60% by German indie bottler Malts of Scotland.

Highland Park 18 year old is one of the all-time greats of the single malt world. Delicious sweet sherry notes alongside the heather-honey distillery character, rounded with a wisp of dry smoke.
