Auchentoshan distillery is a single malt whisky distillery in the west of Scotland, on the outskirts of Glasgow.
Unusual for a Scottish distillery, Auchentoshan practices triple distillation in a third still, known as the "Intermediate Still."
Auchentoshan is one of six malt whisky distilleries in the Scottish Lowlands along with Bladnoch, Glenkinchie and recently Daftmill Distillery, Annandale Distillery and Ailsa Bay Distillery.
A deliciously smooth, mellow long-aged Auchentoshan. This 21 year old Lowland single malt is a sophisticated and well-balanced dram to savour slowly after a good meal.
Released in 2005, this was a limited bottling of 32-year-old Auchentoshan. Distilled in 1973 and aged in ex-sherry wood, just 480 bottles were produced.
