Balblair Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery located in Edderton, Ross-shire, Scotland and owned by Inver House Distillers Limited, whose other distilleries include the Speyburn-Glenlivet Distillery, Knockdhu Distillery, Old Pulteney Distillery and Balmenach Distillery. The distillery now has a visitor centre and is open all year to visitors.

The third release of Balblair's popular 1989 vintage whisky, sitting in the middle of their range of dated drams. The strength has been upped to 46% from 43% for the previous release, giving this edition a little more oomph and flavour intensity. A very drinkable dram indeed.
