Kilchoman

A milestone bottling – the first commercially available 10 year old whisky from Kilchoman. Exclusive, this was distilled on 4 May 2006 and bottled on 28 July 2016 after maturing in a bourbon cask. Originally released in France, Sanaig was given a wider release in 2016. Aged in a combination of oloroso-sherry and bourbon casks, this shows excellent balance between peat smoke and sweet citrus flavours.

Originally released for travel retail, Saligo Bay is named after an area close to Kilchoman distillery. This five-year-old whisky has been aged in ex-bourbon casks, and offers notes of butterscotch, toffee, citrus and smoke. 70cl / 46% - Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky - Distillery Bottling

The third annual release of Loch Gorm, Kilchoman's sherry-cask-matured expression. Building on the previous releases, this edition has some spirit matured in sherry hogsheads, as well as the usual oloroso butts. Bottled at around five years of age, it's an intensely smoky and sherried whisky, but carefully balances the peat and fruit.

2015's fifth edition of Kilchoman 100% Islay is a vatting of bourbon barrels from 2009 and 2010. Made using barley malted on site, this is lightly peated, yet full of Islay character. 70cl / 50% - Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky - Distillery Bottling
