If you love whisky and want to write blogs and become one of our guest writers, then we want to hear from you.

You may be a blogger, experienced writer or a graduate who is looking to show people what you can do, then send us your articles for publication on our website.

We kindly ask is that your article is 100% original, that it is of good quality and is over 1,000 words in length. In exchange for writing for the WhiskyBuys website, we will include your name and a link to your social media account (e.g. LinkedIn profile or similar).

You can also include one “do follow” link in your article, but please don’t make it spammy.

Types Of Articles We Want

As this is a whisky website, it goes without saying that we would prefer articles or blog posts all about whisky. 

You can write about your favourite whisky, your experience of whisky, different types of whisky, whiskies you offer - basically anything related to whisky!

What You Get In Return

Every blog post that we upload to our website will be shared on all of our social media accounts. That means more people will get to see your blog post.

It would be great if you could share the article on your social media accounts too.

For exceptionally high-quality posts, we will make it a "feature post" and promote it on our homepage - meaning thousands of our web visitors will see it.

As mentioned above, we will include a hyperlink in the post so that all our visitors can visit your site or social account.

Guest Writing Guidelines

We will only accept posts if they follow our guest writing guidelines:

• Provide an engaging title which encourages people to read your article
• Split your content up with relevant sub-headings
• Use short paragraphs so that it is easy to read
• Must be original and written in proper English
• Must not be copied (in full or in part) from another website, article, book or any source which has copyright
• Must be over 1,000 words
• Is not sarcastic, have polarizing views, negative or be dictatorial
• If you include images or videos, they must come with copyright approval (please supply proof of this)
• References to any data, statistics or research must have hyperlinks to the source

Submit Your Article To Us

Simply email your article (word or PDF format) to us at info@whiskybuys.com with the following:

1. Article title
2. Article content with any photos/videos
3. Your name and links to your social media accounts
4. Include the following text in the email “I agree with the terms of use for submitting an article to WhiskyBuys”

Terms Of Use

Please do not ask us to accept payment for links in your article.

We occasionally check the articles published on our website to check if they have been used elsewhere. If this is the case, we may remove it from our site.

By submitting an article, you agree to us using it on our website free of charge (with any amends we deem suitable) and you will not claim for payment or copyright infringement now or in the future.

That means, it is owned by us and you are not permitted to re-publish the article without our prior written approval.
